Queer Eye Season 8 release date on Netflix: Episodes, How to watch



For anyone who is missing the emotional makeovers and joyfulness from Fab Five on their screens, the recent season of “Queer Eye” is making a return this week. Queer Eye – Season 8, which is the gratifying makeover show, will be returning to Netflix on Wednesday with its five hosts, who are also called Bobby Berk, Fab Five: Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski, Karamo Brown, Tan France.

As per Netflix’s season explanation, the Fab Five are entering into a former nun’s life who is the largest Kiss fan as well as the Louisiana School for the Deaf’s football coach among others.

This is also the last season to be featuring Berk, who is the design expert in the show. In November, it was announced by Berk that he will be leaving the show post season 8, writing on social media that the decision for exiting was an essential one.

Queer Eye – Season 8 premiere: When is it?

All six episodes of season 8 will be making their debut on January 24. The show is a renewed version of the 2018 Bravo reality series which was initially broadcasted as “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” in 2003. It was afterwards called as the “Queer Eye”.

All six episodes of the new season will be streaming on Netflix right away. The earlier seven seasons were also streamed on the streaming service along with two exceptional seasons.

The filming for Queer Eye – Season 8 was done in New Orleans, Louisiana, featuring six new heroes who are in requirement of a makeover, both emotionally and physically. The earlier seasons of the show have transported the Fab Five for makeovers in other US countries and cities, which include Atlanta, New South Wales, Texas, Austin, Japan, Tokyo, and Australia. An announcement was made by Netflix that the show has been already revived for season 9, set in Las Vegas, Nevada.

‘Queer Eye’: Who are the hosts?

The Fab Five is comprised of Bobby Berk playing the design expert, Jonathan Van Ness playing the grooming expert, Antoni Porowski portraying the food and drink expert, Tan France as the fashion expert and Karamo Brown as the lifestyle and culture expert.

The hosts have been existing with the show since its renewal in 2018. It was announced by Berk in November that his last stint with the show will be Season 8 with ‘Queer Eye’. It is still not announced who will replace him.
