Q4 Results Today: Bank of Maharashtra, Tata Tele, Goyal Aluminiums, Mahindra Logistics


Bank of Maharashtra, Tata Tele, Goyal Aluminium, and Persistent Systems, among a slew of other companies, have announced their fourth-quarter results today.

Bank of Maharashtra

Bank of Maharashtra’s net profit more than doubled year-on-year to Rs 840 crore in the fourth quarter against Rs 355 crore in the same period last year. Operating profit has shown a growth of 57% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 1,855 crore for the quarter under review.

Net Interest Income (NII), the difference between interest earned and interest expended, grew by a healthy 35% YoY basis to Rs 2,187 crore.

Tata Teleservices
Tata Teleservices posted a net loss of Rs 277 crore for the quarter ended March. It is marginally down from the Rs 280 crore loss clocked in the corresponding quarter of last year and Rs 279.7 crore reported in the preceding December quarter.

Revenue from operations during the fourth quarter rose marginally to Rs 280 crore against Rs 272 crore in the year-ago period.

Goyal Aluminiums
Goyal Aluminiums, which has given multibagger returns to investors so far this year, has reported a revenue of Rs 9 crore for the fourth quarter, down from Rs 19.8 crore in the December quarter. The profit after tax (PAT) also nearly halved to Rs 29.97 lakh in the fourth quarter, compared with Rs 54.95 lakh in the December quarter.

Mahindra Logistics
The company reported a revenue of Rs 1,273 crore for the quarter ended March compared to Rs 1,089 crore in the same period last year. EBITDA for the quarter also rose to Rs 68 crore.
