PS5 price crash on Amazon is the best bundle deal before Black Friday

If you have been thinking about a Christmas present for the gamer in your home (or want to treat yourself to the latest generation of console) and want to save some pennies, this is the we’ve ever seen.

Black Friday is still weeks away, but Amazon has slashed 24% off a Sony PS5 bundle with one of the most popular games of the year. Prime members will be able to take delivery of this incredible bundle tomorrow at no extra cost.

Usually priced at £539.99, you’ll be able to bag the Sony PS5 standard Disc Console – with its built-in Blu-Ray player, which isn’t included on the more affordable Digital Edition of the console – and the newly-launched EA FC 24 game (formerly FIFA) for just £409. That’s a staggeringly great deal.

Want further proof of what an incredible saving this is? Amazon is currently selling the same PS5 console without EA FC24 for £469.95 – that’s £60.95 more than the bundle with the best-selling sports title. If you’re not keen on the FIFA series, then sell on the title and use that money to buy another game and you’re still be making a huge saving compared to the standard console.

The bundle comes with the standard disc edition of the PS5 which received five stars in our  thanks to its speedy loading times, stunning visuals and a game-changing controller.

Whether you’re playing the latest PlayStation exclusive, third-party bestseller, or indie hit …gaming on the PS5 is an absolute joy. Everything is buttery-smooth, the controller is responsive and immersive, and the dashboard is functional and stable. Rounding out the experience is support for streamers like Netflix, Disney Plus, Prime Video as well as Blu-Ray playback with the optical drive and a sleek new remote control for those who will rely on this ninth-generation console for their next binge-watch.

In fact, our only real complaint is how thin on the ground Sony PS5 stock has been since its launch. Chip shortages and pandemic-related headaches have meant that players need to spend every waking minute refreshing store listings, setting up stock tracking alerts, or queuing outside high street stores to get their hands on a PS5.

Thankfully, a few years after launch, the PS5 stock situation seems to be improving dramatically, with the next-generation console now more reliably found on store shelves. However, UK players will need to pay a little more for their consoles, following the decision to increase PS5 prices in August 2022 due to spiralling inflation.

It also comes bundled with the hit game EA FC24 which has been renamed from the previous FIFA series – and it only released last week. FC24 features the ever-popular Ultimate Team digital content with the game and includes one Rare Gold Player’s Pack & 3 Untradeable loan Icon players.
