According to a statement, Prozo’s newest facility, located approximately 25 km from the nearest Highway NH16, is situated to serve seafood producers, exporters, and distributors. It is at a proximity of 30 km from Nellore, 115 km from Sri City, 170 km from Chennai, and 700 km from Vizag.
It covers an expanse of 30,000 sq. ft. with a height of 39.8 ft. Engineered exclusively for seafood storage, it maintains temperatures as low as minus 20 degrees Celsius and features 10 chambers, each capable of accommodating 280 pallets in G+4 heavy-duty racking.
Prozo’s says its core mission revolves around harnessing technology and delivering operational capabilities to offer end-to-end, integrated supply chain solutions. The company currently manages supply chains for over 100 enterprises, including prominent e-commerce giants. Their extensive fulfillment network spans across 30 centers, distributed across 12 locations in India, covering a vast expanse of 1.5 million sq. ft.
Ashvini Jakhar, the Founder and CEO of Prozo, emphasised the pressing need for advanced cold storage facilities in India. The Krishnapatnam facility has been established to address this demand and aims to play a pivotal role in supporting seafood producers, exporters, and distributors by curbing wastage and providing reliable storage and logistics solutions, said Jakhar in a statement.
