Private Security Group Says Former Employee Hijacked Website – Bloomberg Law


A California security services company sued a former employee, alleging he hijacked its domain name and is operating a website that displays trademarks “identical or confusingly similar” to its own.

The M.I.B. Group LLC alleges that Steven Aguilar and his company MIB-SHIELD LLC knows that M.I.B. Group held “superior rights in and to the MIB marks,” but “persisted in the use of” infringing marks, according to the complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
