People are not pumping the brakes when it comes to the Lehigh Valley Auto Show.
From first time car buyers to families just looking for something to do: The place has been packed, and there’s still plenty to come this weekend.
The show is attracting young car enthusiasts and the more seasoned ones, too.
“We like cars, so we just like to come around and look and see the options out there,” explained Joey Kulicki of Macungie.
The Lehigh Valley Auto Show has a little something for everyone. Friday night brought flights.
There are also luxury vehicles that some people can only dream of owning and more affordable options for those seriously looking.
“My uncle told me to come here so I could sit in the car,” explained Kayle Grohocolowki of Carbon County. “I kind of want to do travel nursing in a year, so I want to get a car that can drive in the snow.”
For Kayle and her mom, it’s about being able to browse at their own pace.
“My mom and I went to one dealership, and they’re kind of around you and won’t let you sit and look at them, so I feel like it’s better and calmer here.”
Others are only in the market for a good time.
“It’s an outing for now. We have to pay mine off first,” explained Cathy Drexler of Bath.
Grandma, Grandpa and Harper enjoyed what Harper seems to like the most.
“She loves trucks. She likes to help wash cars. She likes her dad’s truck, her dad’s motorcycle,” explained Drexler.
The Lehigh Valley Auto Show is revving it up in terms of attendance, and there’s no plans on pumping the brakes.
“I think it’s because people want to get out because the winter was so cold and everything else,” said Al Wagner of Washington, New Jersey.
Saturday, people can get out of the rain and mingle with the likes of Miss Pennsylvania.
“It’s going to be rainy, so folks won’t be out doing yard work, they will be here,” said Sarah Dams, the marketing director.
Sunday, get in gear for some shows.
“Sunday, we’ll have the tuner display for show out in front of Stabler and the Mustang Club,” added Dams.
