PARENTS have been rushing to Tesco to buy school uniforms that are scanning for 25 per cent off at the till – but you need to act fast.
Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK took to Facebook to urge mums and dads across the nation to make the most out of the deal before it ends.
The post highlights that the deal is only valid to Clubcard holders from July 25 to July 31 this year.
“Save The Dates,” the account advises.
And with the summer holidays coming up and parents getting ready to buy their kids uniforms for the next school term, it’s no wonder the post racked up a mega 2.2k shares and 1.7k likes.
Keen parents also took to the comment section with one writing: “we got time to pop to Tesco on Thursday after the course? I need to get some black pe stuff”.
Another said: “Can we go shopping next week please?”
A third commented: “Need to pop over for the tops and that”.
Customers are not able to buy school uniform online so if you want to snap up this deal, then make sure you head down to a Tesco store.
The post informs: “Available in larger stores nationwide, subject to availability”.
This comes after a little-known site was revealed where parents can sell old school uniforms and buy new ones from as little as 50p.
It’s free to use and parents can list items for free – there are no selling fees.
Families who are struggling with high prices can then purchase items secondhand.
The website sells items like socks to blazers to PE kits to shirts.
It also sells things like pencil cases, scarves, wellies, books and winter coats.

Another money savvy mum revealed how she saved £204 on her children’s school uniforms.
The first tip she encouraged parents to use is to through wardrobes and drawers to see what can still be worn and still fits.
And while of course children should feel comfortable in their clothes, if you can, get a size or two up so it lasts a little longer.
A third tip from the mum-of-two is to find out if your school hosts a clothes swap, or you could even set one up yourself.
