The Overwatch 2 Pride event will commence on June 1, 2024, coinciding with the start of Pride Month. Although the end date has not been confirmed, it is expected to last the entire month, similar to last year’s event.

Midtown Transformation
Midtown will be transformed with Pride-themed decorations. The map will display rainbows of confetti and Pride flags instead of the usual American flags. These changes represent a “local Pride parade” within the Overwatch world, celebrating the authenticity of everyone.

Pride-themed Cosmetics

Players can earn exclusive Pride-themed cosmetics through Twitch drops. The first revealed drop is a new Monarch Rare skin for Venture. Other cosmetics will also be available. To earn these drops, tune in to the OW2 esports channel from June 8 to 9, during the Rising Series and the Challenger Series.New Comic
This year’s event will also feature a new comic and short story. The 2024 comic, focused on Venture, the first trans non-binary Hero in the game, will be available from June 7, 2024. The story, “Venture’s Adventures: Tangle with Talon,” involves Venture facing Talon agents while on an archaeological mission at Ilios.

Blizzard Pride Collection
Blizzard will offer a variety of real-life clothing and apparel as part of their Blizzard Pride collection. All proceeds from these purchases will be donated to The Trevor Project, which supports the LGBTQ+ community and focuses on suicide prevention and crisis intervention.
