  1. Texas Tech lost its first eight Big 12 games this season, but has won five of nine conference games since the poor start. The Red Raiders are now 5-12 (.294) in Big 12 play and sit two games back of Oklahoma State in the conference standings.
  2. Texas Tech has won three of its last four games at home inside the United Supermarkets Arena. The Red Raiders hold a 11-5 (.687) record in Lubbock this season.
