‘Obliterated’: from TBS to Netflix
The film was planned as a straight-to-order series for TBS in 2019, but the creators put it on the back burner as they got busy in making ‘Cobra Kai’. It was shifted from the TBS to Netflix in May 2022. Later Netfix announced on August 28 that the film will be released globally on November 30, 2023.
‘Obliterated’: the plot
Talking about the plot, Netflix in an official statement said, “Obliterated is a high-octane action-comedy that tells the story of an elite special forces team who thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas. After their celebratory party, filled with booze, drugs, and sex, the team discovers that the bomb they deactivated was a fake. The now intoxicated team has to fight through their impairments, overcome their personal issues, find the real bomb, and save the world.”
‘Obliterated’: 8 episodes
‘Obliterated’ Season 1 will have 8 episodes with a runtime of around an hour each. Cinematographer Abraham Martinez is best known for working on ‘Spider-Man 3’. Casting director Marie A.K. McMaster is associated with the film.

Nick Zano will play the role of Chad McKnight in ‘Obliterated’. He has portrayed Arthur in the TV mini-series ‘Minority Report’. But he is best known for his role in The CW’s DC superhero franchise the Arrowverse as Nate Heywood aka Steel in Legends of Tomorrow.
