The Nobel Peace Prize is decided by a committee of five persons elected by the Norwegian Parliament.

The Nobel Prizes are awarded during the Nobel Week, which ends with the Nobel Prize ceremony on December 10, the anniversary of Alfred Nobel’s death. The ceremony takes place in Stockholm for Physics, Chemistry, Medicine, and Literature, while the Peace Prize is awarded in Oslo.
