New Zealand interested in AUKUS cooperation in non-nuclear tech – Nikkei Asia


SINGAPORE — New Zealand is interested in cooperating with Australia, the U.K. and the U.S. under their trilateral security framework known as AUKUS in nonnuclear areas such as artificial intelligence, if hurdles are cleared, Defense Minister Andrew Little said on Friday.

Little made the remark during an interview with Nikkei on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue security council, which starts the same day in Singapore.
