Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is all set to virtually inaugurate the Ranchi-Howrah-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express on September 24, 2023, marking a significant milestone in the region’s transportation network. The regular operation of this high-speed train is scheduled to commence from September 27, 2023.
This indigenously designed train, known as Vande Bharat Express, boasts state-of-the-art passenger amenities. It aims to deliver a more comfortable and convenient travel experience for passengers, benefiting students, businessmen, tourists, and entrepreneurs alike. Notably, this enhanced connectivity is expected to contribute to the socio-economic development of the region.
20898/20897 Ranchi – Howrah- Ranchi Vande Bharat Express Schedule
The 20898 Ranchi – Howrah Vande Bharat Express will depart from Ranchi at 05:15 hrs, reaching Howrah at 12:20 hrs on the same day. For the return journey, the 20897 Howrah-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express will depart from Howrah at 15:45 hrs and arrive in Ranchi at 22:50 hrs on the same day.
The train will make stoppages at key stations along its route, including Muri, Kotshila, Purulia, Chandil, Tatanagar, and Kharagpur, providing convenient access to various regions.This high-speed rail link marks a significant leap in connectivity, bringing together two important cities and offering a platform for economic and social development in the region.
