The biggest surprise of the Fisker Product Vision Day was the unveiling of a hardcore off-road version of the recently launched Ocean SUV. The Fisker Ocean Force E is a jacked-up, beefed-up version of the SUV with real off-roading ability, according to the brand.
“It’s the 4×4 for people who really care about nature,” said CEO Henrik Fisker. “It’s for anyone who wants to go out and enjoy nature, but they don’t want to pollute.”
The Ocean Force E gets extra-wide fenders, chunky 33-inch wheels on 20-inch rims, higher ground clearance with reduced entry and exit angles, protective underbody plates , Force E body graphics and specialised dampers. On the roof sits a space-age cargo box that adds to the rough look of the car.
As well as a standalone model that can be ordered now, the Force E pack will be available for owners of existing Oceans, be that Extreme, Ultimate or Sport versions, who want to upgrade their cars.
First deliveries of Ocean Force E cars are expected to be in the first quarter of 2024.
