New breast cancer treatment not approved for NHS use

reast cancer patients in England with a certain form of the disease could be “denied” access to a new treatment, a charity has said, after health officials provisionally rejected a drug for NHS use.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (Nice) said it will not recommend trastuzumab deruxtecan for treating advanced HER2-low breast cancer in new draft guidance.
