Netflix teases Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's upcoming projects. Know their movie, TV, and unscripted shows



Prince Harry and and his wife Meghan Markle are working on a movie, a TV show and a couple of unscripted shows at present. These are under their estimated $100 million deal with Netflix, signed in September 2020. According to the New York Post, Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, revealed what types of projects Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are working on. She said, “They have a movie in development; a [scripted] series that they’re working on. So all very early development, with a movie, a TV show and a couple of unscripted shows. But yeah, the movie’s great.”

Bajaria also said Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a couple of unscripted things they’re working on with Brandon Riegg, the head of unscripted shows at Netflix.
After signing the deal with Netflix, they said their Archewell Productions would create documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripted shows and children’s shows for the streaming platform.

The couple’s most newsworthy project was the docuseries ‘Harry & Meghan’, which was released in December 2022. It provided an intimate look into their new life in California after stepping down as senior members of the royal family in January 2020.

It hit the streamer in August. Author Carley Fortune confirmed that Archewell is adapting her romance novel ‘Meet Me at the Lake’ for Netflix.
