FISH and chip fans looking for cod’s gift to dinners will get their fill with this 1st 4lb portion — with 4,500 calories.
The £40 feast has four battered cods, three portions of chips, eight sausages, four fish cakes and ten different sauces.
Dips include mushy peas, beans, curry sauce and gravy.
Known as The Codfather, it is the brainchild of Erdal and Megann Altinoz, who in 2019 came up with the “world’s largest kebab”, containing 5,350 calories.
Their new fish feast comes in a box that has to be wrapped in tape to stop it bursting open.
Megann, 42, who owns the Chip Inn in Huthwaite, Notts, said: “It’s the largest fish and chip box in the UK.
“The box is really, really big.
“I’ve not seen one like it.
“The 20-inch boxes are a struggle to lift when they’re ready.
“I have to get someone to help me lift it.
“No-one has been able to finish the box themselves yet.”
Customers came from as far as Florida for the shop’s kebab gut-buster — but that box was five inches smaller.
Megann said: “It’s amazing that people from around the world know us.
“We definitely have American-style portions.”
