MOTHER’S Day is just around the corner as M&S Café launches a new afternoon tea for two deal.
The offer is available at 31 cafes in major UK cities including Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow as of today (March 13).
Customers can pay £12.50 per person or £25 for two.
The menu features all-butter scones with Cornish clotted cream, fresh strawberries and mini chocolate cupcakes.
Plus, diners will be able to feast on French macarons, cinnamon biscuits and a selection of sandwiches.
Anyone wanting to spice up the meal can add a mini bottle of Conte Prioili Oro Prosecco for an extra £5.
Marks and Spencer said diners buying the meal deal will save £5.80 compared to purchasing the individual items separately.
Individually, the items add up to £30.80 compared to £25 as a meal deal – so customers are getting a 19% discount.
The sandwich selection usually costs £10 for two while scones for two would normally be £5.
Meanwhile, clotted cream is typically £1.40, fresh strawberries £4 and the jam pot £1.40.
The sweet treats, including cinnamon biscuits and macarons, usually cost £4 and the tea £5.

Are any other supermarkets doing Mother’s Day offers?
Morrisons has slashed the price of its afternoon tea for two deal from £12.99 to £10 in time for Mother’s Day too – that makes it £15 cheaper compared to M&S’.
The offer is available at Morrisons cafes nationwide from today until March 19.
Mums and their loved ones can grab a selection of sandwiches, cakes and fruit scones served on a three-tier stand.
Younger children with less to spend can buy smaller, cheaper items, including toasted fruit tea cakes for £1.29 and crumpets for 99p.
To find your nearest cafe you just have to use Morrisons’ store finder.
If you don’t feel like heading out to your nearest Morrisons cafe, you can order the meal deal to collect from your nearest branch.
It’s not the first time supermarkets have run Mother’s Day specials to entice customers in.
M&S launched a Mother’s Day flowers range from £25 last year while Morrisons slashed the price of its fizz to just £4.
