HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Base officials will host a monthly enlisted promotion ceremony Aug. 31 at 3 p.m. at the Minuteman Commons for all Airmen scheduled to promote to the next highest rank in September.
The Team Hanscom ceremony will include Airmen from the 66th Air Base Group, 319th Recruiting Squadron, geographically separated members and others administratively attached to the installation.
“These ceremonies are not just about rank, they’re about honoring an Airman’s growth, resilience, and the pride we take in each other’s success,” said Chief Master Sgt. Alan Weary, installation command chief. “We look forward to celebrating this milestone together for the first time in three years.”
The ceremony was last held in February 2020, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Organizers encourage all friends, family, and colleagues with base access to attend.
