Investing.com – Mexico equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

The biggest gainers of the session on the were Grupo Aeroportuario Del CentroNorte (BMV:), which rose 3.76% or 5.97 points to trade at 164.95 at the close. Controladora Vuela Compania de Aviacion SAB de CV (BMV:) added 2.54% or 0.30 points to end at 12.13 and Alsea , S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:) was up 2.25% or 1.17 points to 53.21 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Orbia Advance Corporation SAB de CV (BMV:), which lost 2.21% or 0.43 points to trade at 19.04 in late trade. Promotora y Operadora de Infraestructura SAB de CV (BMV:) declined 1.66% or 2.94 points to end at 174.68 and Grupo Financiero Banorte (BMV:) shed 1.43% or 1.95 points to 134.74.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 111 to 101 and 20 ended unchanged on the Mexico Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.44% or 11.00 to $2,535.60 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 1.67% or 1.13 to hit $68.80 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 0.03% or 0.02 to trade at $71.98 a barrel.
USD/MXN was unchanged 0.02% to 19.88, while EUR/MXN unchanged 0.01% to 21.94.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 101.61.
