MCDONALD’s is set to offer a big discount on two of its fan favourites tomorrow – but it won’t last long.
The Single McMuffin will be slashed from £2.89 to just £1.19 tomorrow – with the deal covering both the Sausage and Egg and the the Bacon and Egg options.
It will run during the normal breakfast menu hours, ending at 11am when McDonald’s starts serving the lunch and dinner menu.
From then onwards, you can pick up a vegan McPlant burger for just £1.39 – £2 cheaper than usual.
Sunday night revellers can get the same discount on their McPlant during the early hours of Monday, between midnight and 5am.
McDonald’s warns that the deal will only run for one day – and customers must get the chain’s app to treat themselves.
If you opt in to MyMcDonald’s Reward on the app, you can earn points towards future discounts when you get the deal on Monday.
Every penny you spend wins you a point – so you will land 119 points for a McMuffin and 139 points for a McPlant tomorrow.
Once you reach 1,500 points, you can get a free portion of fries, a hash brown or a soft drink.
At 2,500 points, you will unlock a double cheeseburger, a vegetable deluxe or an apple pie.
The 3,500 points milestone will bring you the choice of six chicken McNuggets, a Big Mac or a Filet-O-Fish.
True Maccies superfans can at 5,500 points choose between a Mighty McMuffin, a McSpicy, a Double Quarter Pounder with cheese or a McCrispy.
If you tire of McDonald’s at any stage, you can donate the cash equivalent of your points to a range of charities chosen by the chain.
It comes after a McDonald’s worker revealed why the ice-cream machine is always broken – and customers have it all wrong.
