A MAJOR Kia dealership has closed down and is “effectively replaced” by a huge garage 13 miles away in a massive blow.
The car giant branch in Springside, Irvine, Scotland, has announced their shock closure after previously being listed for sale.

With an asking price of offers over £395,000, it was not clear before whether this would see it shut up shop.
But villagers have now been left in the lurch and are stuck without a nearby car dealership after Kia confirmed it would close completely.
And in yet another blow, the closest garage to those in Springside is a whopping 13 miles away.
Arnold Clark Kia, in Ayr, is now tasked with taking on all the customers from the former branch.
Kia has said that anyone looking to buy a car, have a service or MOT or aftersales should now contact the new dealership.
It comes after a huge change was announced for a dealership which sells Fords, Hyundais and Kias.
Pendragon, which is one of the largest motor retailers in the UK, has agreed to sell its brands.
These include Evans Halshaw, Stratstone and CarStore, for £250million to the US giant Lithia.
Evans Halshaw holds dealerships for 10 brands, including Citroen, Dacia, DS, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault and Vauxhall.
Stratstone handle Aston Martin, BMW, BYD, Ferrari, Genesis, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Porsche and Smart.
