Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — The latest security technology was shown off in Johnstown on Friday.
What’s called the “AXIS Experience Vehicle” was shown off to the public.
The vehicle is a collaboration between locally operated Watkins Security and AXIS Communications.
The AEV is 39 feet long and 13 feet high, and provides hands-on experience with video surveillance, analytics and artificial intelligence software.
“This is a way to get it out to the public instead of them coming to us. We want to share what we have with everybody else,” said Ed Ross, the regional sales manager for AXIS Communications.
Watkins Security is locally based in Johnstown.
They provide security for businesses, schools, correctional institutions and government facilities.
