Dealing with people who may bring turmoil into our lives, reminds us that turmoil arises when things happen contrary to our expectations. The ability to successfully deal with such situations depends on how resilient we are and how well we acclimatise ourselves to what is happening around us.
It is easy to blame others for making us angry. But the truth is, we are the only ones in control of ourselves. No one else can make us angry. We have the power to ignore others and remain calm and still.
Through meditation, we can focus our attention on the peace within and bring ourselves to a state where we can deal with all such situations calmly and peacefully. We will find that while the same situations that incite us every day continue, we will not become slaves to them. We can calmly pass through them using our body, mind and energy for more constructive purposes, and we will feel happier, more joyful and more peaceful.
