Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump dedicated most of Wednesday’s (July 24) rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, to attacking Vice President and potential Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris. Trump, 78, aimed to curb her momentum with an aggressive speech, his first since Harris’ entry altered the race. “As border czar, Kamala threw open our borders that allowed 20 million illegal aliens to stampede into our country from all over the world,” Trump alleged. Trump also addressed abortion, a topic Democrats have traditionally viewed as a strong issue for their campaign. During his speech, Trump used one of his famous catchphrases directed at Harris: “We don’t want you anywhere. Kamala, you’re fired. Get out of here. You’re fired.”
