Israel shares higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.09%


Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 1.09% to hit a new all time high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which rose 4.77% or 368.00 points to trade at 8,080.00 at the close. Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:) added 3.34% or 1,710.00 points to end at 52,920.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:) was up 2.93% or 32.00 points to 1,124.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which lost 2.01% or 620.00 points to trade at 30,220.00 in late trade. Ormat Technologies (TASE:) declined 0.80% or 200.00 points to end at 24,760.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:) shed 0.71% or 460.00 points to 64,040.00.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 316 to 149 and 72 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.12% or 0.08 to $69.46 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.08% or 0.06 to hit $72.56 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.42% or 37.00 to trade at $2,645.10 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.00% to 3.64, while EUR/ILS rose 0.53% to 3.80.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.74% at 107.35.
