Enterprise browser Island has announced that it has appointed Steve Tchejeyan to its executive team as President. In his new role, Tchejeyan will be in charge of scaling the company following decades of executive leadership experience driving business strategies and growth initiatives for technology and cybersecurity companies.

Before joining Island, Tchejeyan served as Chief Revenue Officer for Forescout Technologies. He has two decades of experience in cybersecurity and he has held several sales and executive leadership positions with technology leaders including Symantec, Blue Coat Systems, Intel Security, and Cisco.

Island’s enterprise browser was launched in 2022. The company has already achieved unicorn status with a valuation of $1.3 billion and has to date raised a total of $270 million. Its founders include Fey and Dan Amiga (CTO), and its headquarters are in Dallas, Texas, under Fey’s management with the R&D team in Tel Aviv, which Amiga manages.
