Is JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon backing Donald Trump?



JPMorgan Chase denied all sorts of narratives and cleared it out pretty transparently that the CEO of JPMorgan Chase, Jamie Dimon has not endorsed former US President Donald Trump for the position of US President in the US Presidential Election. According to CNBC, the claim of Jamie Dimon’s endorsement of Donald Trump came to light when a screenshot was posted from Donald Trump’s official Truth Social handle which was later found out to be false and fabricated.

CNBC reported that the spokesman of Jamie Dimon, Joe Evangelisti made a phone call to CNBC and clarified that Jamie Dimon has not endorsed any candidate for the US Presidential Elections whatsoever. Donald Trump’s Republican camp has not given any sort of responses to queries regarding this matter.

NBC News, following this clarification from JPMorgan Chase asked Donald Trump about the post, to which he bluntly replied that he did not know about any such post and the post was not at all done by him. CNBC noted that the post was published around 01:56 pm ET and was still visible on Donald Trump’s official account after a good amount of time.

According to CNBC, Jamie Dimon has offered several praises to Donald Trump but that was something in the past though he never endorsed any of the Democratic leaders, neither Joe Biden nor Kamala Harris. Alongside praises, clashes between Jamie Dimon and Donald Trump are pretty famous as well, among which a striking instance was Jamie Dimon’s urge to corporate leaders during the Republican Presidential Primary Season to support South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley over Donald Trump.
