iPhone 15 Pro Max stock has sold out… but there's a way you can get it on release day


iPhone 15 is finally here, after Apple unmasked its newest phones during its Wonderlust launch event on September 12. During the 90-minute keynote, it showed off the new iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max for the first time alongside two new favours of Apple Watch – including its first carbon-neutral gadget.

Pre-orders started on September 15 and it seems iPhone 15 Pro Max has proven to be a colossal hit with fans.

At the time of writing, Apple predicts you could be waiting two months for the phone if you buy the 256GB version of the Pro Max. Other network carriers are predicting that you could be waiting a month or two for the new Pro Max model.

The good news is there is a way to get the new iPhone 15 Pro Max on release day as some stores might free up stock for you to try and buy on September 22. 

John Lewis has said on its website that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available to buy on September 22nd despite pre-orders being sold out.

So you might want to keep an eye on John Lewis’ website on the day of release if you want to bag yourself a new phone. Other retailers could also do the same with other stock that wasn’t allocated for pre-orders.
