CORALVILLE, Iowa—IntelliSee, an AI-based risk mitigation platform developer, has been awarded a national group purchasing agreement for weapon detection with Premier, Inc.
Effective immediately, the new agreement allows Premier members, at their discretion, to take advantage of special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier for IntelliSee’s AI risk mitigation platform for weapon detection.

IntelliSee Provides Protection from Numerous Threats
IntelliSee emphasizes that its AI-risk mitigation platform was developed to protect users against day-to-day risks, like slip and falls, while also protecting against potentially catastrophic threats, like active shooters.
The company states that its solution overlays with existing surveillance systems to actively monitor live camera feeds 24/7/365 to detect threats in real-time. Once detected, the IntelliSee platform sends instant alerts to provide users with situational awareness and context needed to act quickly to prevent harm.
According to the IntelliSee, its AI detects drawn guns, slipping hazards such as leaks or spills, fallen persons, trespassing, loitering, vehicles, and other risks. IntelliSee also points out that its platform does not store footage, use personally identifiable information (PII) or facial recognition, so users have added protection without violating Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), or other regulatory or privacy considerations.
