‘I was fired from my job for posting a TikTok – now I have a six-figure salary at just 24'

One woman is sharing how she was let go from her previous employment for allegedly posting a TikTok which was filmed in the workplace. Content creator Nadia Khaled has since been able to turn her life around and now owns a business that earns her a six-figure salary.

She has nearly half a million followers on the social media platform and updates viewers on her new career as an alignment coach. In the new business, Ms. Khaled helps people succeed in life and uses her past experience to help her clients.

Last year, the 24-year-old was unexpectedly fired from her job as an addiction counselor, leaving her thousands of dollars in student loan debt.

Speaking to Shera, the young woman broke down she was able to get out of her difficult predicament in the space of 12 months.

She explained: “Out of nowhere, I got fired from my job for posting a TikTok that I had filmed at work – and I had no idea that was coming. I was depressed because I really couldn’t see a way out, I hated what I was doing and there was no light at the end of the tunnel.

“I was somehow still super tight on money, even though I was working 40 hours a week and sometimes a few times a month [doing] an overnight shift at my job. I was resentful because I was going into debt for this Master’s degree that I didn’t even enjoy.”

Looking into alternative career paths, the entrepreneur learned more about neuroscience and the power of “manifesting” which she shared with her followers on TikTok. As well as making herself feel better, she discovered that she was attracting a new audience on the platform.

After being offered brand deals, the 24-year-old started her own coaching business where she teaches others how they can manifest and attract whatever they want.

It has turned into a successful business which brings her in six figures and allows her to help people who were in a similar situation to herself. Sharing advice, Ms. Khaled added: “Just be open to the possibilities and assume that when you want something the universe already has a plan to bring it to you.

“What you need to do is start relying on your intuition because your intuition is the version of you that knows exactly how to get to where you want to go.

“If you ever get the intuitive urge to do a certain thing, or you feel inspired to do a certain thing, but you don’t know why, that’s usually the intuition that’s giving you the action step of how to get to where you want to go.”
