I received a threatening note about where I park my car – but I’m not in the wrong

A DRIVER was left fuming after they found an angry note on their car criticising their parking – but they’re not in the wrong.

Reddit user @u/loukevins was accused of parking in front of someone’s driveway near where they work.

The note reads: “You’re blocking our f***** driveway, do not park here.”

However, the picture uploaded by the poster shows the car parked perfectly – without blocking their driveway.

The Reddit user titled the post: “Near where I work (UK), with very limited parking. I think this note is crazy. I’m not sure which drive I’m meant to be blocking. Who’s in the wrong?”

The poster added: “Well, it’s basically the back alley of a commercial area, and the entire road has cars parked on one side of the street as is common in the UK. It’s pretty quiet as far as foot traffic goes.

Shockingly, the poster found another note left on their car a few days later.

“I found out today (after another note, which ended by stating ‘we won’t be responsible for any damage or theft’, which sounded a bit like a threat to either damage or steal [from] my car…) that it’s the people with the driveway to the front of my car that is leaving the notes, so I’ll try backing up a bit and see if I’m met with any more notes.

“Or hopefully, I can find another space tomorrow, and every other day, so that I can stop getting notes on my windscreen.”

However, most commenters think that REDDIT user @u/loukevins is in the wrong.

One said: “You’re the Suzuki? You’re blocking both drivers. You’re in the wrong.”

The poster answered the comment: “I’m thinking that maybe this will be looked at differently by people in America, as there is much more space on the roads.

“I truly can’t understand how this could be considered me blocking either. I could park a bus on either of those drives with my car where it is.”

A second person commented: “If they park four cars in total on there or just one in line with the black one, you will be blocking the blue one, maybe.”
