I make £32k a month doing job everyone hates after quitting the NHS – now I can afford to live in sunny paradise

A BRITISH mum has revealed how she makes an eye-watering £32,000 a month from her lucrative property portfolio.

Dr Tania King-Mohammad, who lives in Ibiza with her husband and their two daughters, quit her job as an NHS doctor three years ago to become a property mogul.

The 38-year-old takes home about £1000 each month from buy-to-let properties, while the couple’s short-term property portfolio also makes them a cool £10,000 per month.

But Tania’s biggest source of income is her business – Freedom with Tania – which earns her between £19-20k every month.

Freedom with Tania is a hugely successful property, wealth, and business strategy company.

Now dubbed a “wealth strategist,” Tania left her job as an NHS doctor during the pandemic.

She told the i: “I left the NHS in January 2021 because I was severely burnt out and borderline depressed. I couldn’t continue with the stress and responsibility of being a doctor.”

Tania, who didn’t come from a wealthy family, wanted to build a new life for herself with “more freedom, time and money.”

The mum-of-two started investing in property in 2017 and says attending a three-day course on the subject “changed everything” for her.

Tania and her husband are now landlords and manage an impressive portfolio of 13 properties in the UK, predominantly in the south-west of England.

The couple, who have made just shy of £1 million in revenue to date, run short-term rentals, including Airbnbs, serviced accommodation and holiday lets, and standard buy-to-let rental properties.

Private health insurance: £180

To make additional income, Tania and her husband have also used the buy-refurbish-refinance model, which involves renovating properties, increasing their market value, and then refinancing them to invest in another property.

One of her most successful examples was a property bought in Plymouth for £200,000 in 2021, which she then spent £45,000 and had it revalued at £320,000, creating a profit of £75,000.

It’s a far cry from Tania’s former career, where she was taking home £2,200 per month as a doctor.

While working for the NHS, Tania racked up a £30,000 credit card debt as her income didn’t cover her family’s living expenses.

But now, Tania and her husband regularly enjoy fine dining at the world’s top-rated restaurants, which can cost up to £400.

Tania, who moved to Ibiza with her husband and kids in September 2021, is showing no signs of slowing down.

She said: “I’d like our property portfolio to be making £150,000 per month and Freedom With Tania to be making over £100,000 every month within the next five years.”

Tania also has plans to buy and renovate a home in central London to use as a pied-à-terre, which would likely cost in the region of £2 million.

It comes after an Australian man revealed he makes a whopping £8,000 per month doing a job that many people avoid.
