A MAN made more than £700 profit by flipping a car on Facebook over a few days.
The car fanatic took to social media to share how he made a nice profit after selling a second-hand Vauxhall Corsa.
TikTok user @ryans_salvage bought a Corsa for £200, but the engine wasn’t working, and the bodywork was in bad condition.
The poster revealed that he had to pay £30 to recover it and £170 for a new engine.
Days later, a mechanic installed the new engine for only £130.
The man claims he bought another Corsa for just £80 to use it for parts.
He explained: “I bought a new bumper and bonnet for £60, the previous owner had paid for a new door, but I swapped them over for free and changed the discs and pads on it.”
The man then listed the second-hand car on Facebook for £1,495 but ended up selling it for £1,200 – making a £705 profit in just a week.
The video has gone viral on social media, with more than 398,000 views on TikTok.
Users were blown away after discovering the big profit he made after selling this second-hand car.
One said: “Smashed it.”
Another asked: “Where did you buy another Corsa for £80 for parts?”
The poster answered: “A girl in my college class, lol, was supposed to be £150 but ended up taking it for £80 in the end.”
A third pointed out: “I feel bad for the person who spent £1,200.”
This comes after a motors expert made more than £1,000 profit by flipping a used car on Facebook Market place – and it only took him a few days.
Plus, another expert claims that he made more than £5,500 profit by flipping a luxury car on eBay – and it only took him 24 hours.
