'I began my budgeting business with £980 in 2021 & made £695,200 last year'


To keep herself accountable, she posted about her budgeting experience on TikTok and her videos soon went viral.

In the first year of her budgeting journey, Jasmine could pay off $23,000 (£18,810) in student loan debt and clear her medical debt and credit card balance, she told CNBC Make It.

Having seen the interest from fellow social media users, and establishing a huge following (she currently has 634,000 TikTok followers), Jasmine launched her business Baddies and Budgets.

The entrepreneur knew she would be getting a $1,200 (£981) stimulus check, and spent it on a Shopify account, shipping supplies and materials for cash stuffing products.
