No update yet from KCOM
Many Hull residents are still waiting for answers from the provider about the outage, with one customer saying that posting updates on their website or social media would save hundreds of people clogging the phone lines.
They wrote: “Why do they never put an update on their website? This is where I go to find the tech support number to call, so a quick notice to say they are aware of the issue and [approximate] fix time would save hundreds of people waiting in [the] queue getting more annoyed just to hear info from an advisor”

KCOM phone lines bombarded
Many confused customers have reached out to KCOM’s customer service only to find long wait times as the queue surpasses over 100.
One HU7 resident wrote on Twitter: “I’m on the phone to them now in queue position number 155 but I live in HU7 do you think I should end the call and wait?”
Whilst another angry customer said: “Your internets literally down in hull now. Just rang the telephone line 172nd in the queue, hopefully you will knock this off the extortionate price people pay for broadband in Hull”
