Have a bestie that you Snapchat all day long? Perhaps one who appears in you Friends Solar System if you’re a Snapchat plus user?
The popular social media app let’s users pin favourite conversations to the top of the ‘Chat’ section of the app, meaning that it’s impossible to miss a message.
But what if you no longer want a conversation to be pinned?
Perhaps you are annoyed at a user for breaking your Snapstreak or because there’s no longer a yellow heart beside their name.
Here’s a step by step guide to unpinning.
How to unpin someone on Snapchat
To unpin someone on Snapchat follow these simple steps:
- Swipe right from the Camera screen to go to the Chat screen
- Press and hold on a pinned friend or Group
- Tap ‘Chat Settings’
- Tap ‘Unpin Conversation’
How to pin someone on Snapchat
If youwant to pin someone new to your profile, or if you decide you want your old conversation back, follow the steps below:
- Swipe right from the Camera screen to go to the Chat screen
- Press and hold on a friend or Group
- Tap ‘Chat Settings ‘
- Tap ‘Pin Conversation’
You can customise Friend Emojis for pinning – these will replace the default pin emoji.
At present, pinning is only a feature that is available for iOS users.
