Picture-sharing app Snapchat has been making waves recently with the announcement that it was introducing its own AI chatbot feature

It’s probably fair to say that the app has come a long way from its early days, with a list of features that seems to be consistently expanding.

One of its most popular features is the ability to create and join large group chats.

Social media group chats are brilliant for staying in touch with lots of people at once.

So, how do you go about creating a group chat on Snapchat?

Here’s what you need to know.

How to create a Snapchat group chat

A Snapchat group chat lets you send snaps between you and up to 100 other people at once.

Fortunately, whether it’s a group of friends from school, a sports team, or just some of your nearest and dearest, creating a Snapchat group to keep in touch couldn’t be simpler.

First, open up the app and swipe right to get to the Chat screen.

Then, tap on the icon in the left corner to create a new chat.

From there, you can select the friends you want to add to the group chat by tapping their names.

Once you’ve added everyone you want, just hit “Create Group”, and you’re all set! Now you can chat with all your friends at once.

You can find your group chats by tapping them on the Chat screen or by searching for them.

Have fun!
