How much do junior doctors earn? Salary and pay scales as new strike date looms



Junior doctors and the unions that support them say their pay rises have been below inflation for the last 15 years, and a 35% pay increase is now needed to make up for that. The British Medical Association (BMA) is calling for “full restoration” of pay, which it said has fallen by 26 per cent. It has said a government offer of a 5% pay rise was not “credible”.
