The popular dessert has caused a stir on social media as fans rush to get their hands on the early Easter treat.

One person posted a picture of the pudding in the NewFoodsUK Facebook group and other shoppers were quick to comment.

The post read: “Creme Egg Pots of Joy desserts are back at Sainsbury’s”.

Fans of the Cadbury favourite rushed to tag their friends in the post.

One person said: “OMG my fave, I need these”.

Another added: “Look at this heavenly scran.”

While a third commented: “Best yogurt ever”.

The post racked up over a hundred comments from Creme Egg fans looking forward to getting their hands on the dessert.

It did not say which store the Creme Egg Pots of Joy were found in or how much they were.

We had a look online to see if we could find a price or locate the desserts in any other retailer but could not see them online at all.

Cadbury does have other “Pots of Joy” such as the Cadbury Caramel flavour which is priced in Morrisons at £1.60 for four 60g pots.

Also, Creme Egg fans will be pleased to know that you can get a Cadbury Layers of Joy trifle from Tesco at £3.50 for a 550g size.

Asda also has the white chocolate Creme Egg currently in stock for 60p each.

Remember just because an item is in one store does not mean it will be stocked in all.

However, if you are a Sainsbury’s shopper and fancy bagging yourself some of these sweet treats it is worth keeping your eye out.

Things change all the time, especially in the lead-up to seasonal events and Easter is quite a way off yet, so there is still time for other retailers to get stocked up.

If you want to see what different supermarkets are offering and compare the prices you can use sites such as Google Shopping and Trolley.com.

We used Trolley to search for our pricing, but bear in mind that it gives online prices and it may be different in the physical store.

Supermarkets are in full Easter mode now Christmas is over and new chocolate treats are popping up everywhere.

Aldi customers have recently been going wild for the discounter’s new Easter chocolates that are a dupe of Marks and Spencer.

Tesco shoppers have also been enjoying a “luscious” twist on a traditional hot cross bun.

Meanwhile, Terry’s Chocolate Orange fans have been filling up their baskets after spotting an Easter Egg with a twist in Tesco.
