HCLtech ties up with Cisco for meeting rooms-as-a-service


HCLtech, India’s third largest IT services company, on Tuesday announced the launch of its meeting rooms-as-a-service (MRaaS) solution in collaboration with multinational digital communications technology conglomerate Cisco.

The MRaaS solution will enable seamless collaboration for enterprises’ globally dispersed hybrid workforces, the company said in a press release.

It will allow users to join meetings from any meeting solution provider using Webex devices, helping enterprises simplify the design, implementation and maintenance of integrated meeting rooms, the company said in a press release.

“MRaaS combines our consulting and managed services expertise with Cisco’s proficiency in Webex devices to change the way employees conceptualize, organize and interact in a collaborative environment for a modern hybrid work model,” said Rakshit Ghura, senior vice president and global head of digital workplace services, HCLTech.

“The common vision of our partnership is to elevate the collaboration experience at work and drive productivity through modern meeting rooms.”

The company said Cisco’s Webex collaboration devices leverage artificial intelligence to offer seamless collaboration experiences and meeting rooms with smart features like meeting zones, intelligent people framing, and optimised attendee audio and background noise removal.
