SEARCY – For the first time in program history, Harding enters the NCAA Division II Playoffs as the No. 1 seed in Super Region 3. The Bisons will have a bye in the first round and will meet the winner of No. 4 Central Missouri of the MIAA and Henderson State on Nov. 25 at First Security Stadium. Kickoff time will be at 1 p.m. CT. It will be Harding’s eighth trip to the Division II Playoffs.

Super Region 3 is comprised of teams from the Great American Conference, the MIAA, the Great Lakes Valley Conference and the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference.

The other matchups are No. 2 Grand Valley State (GLIAC) vs. Ferris State (GLIAC) and No. 3 Pittsburg State (MIAA) vs. UIndy (GLVC).

There will only be two ways to watch Harding’s playoff game. You can attend the game in person with tickets available at HardingTickets.com beginning Thursday, Nov. 16 at 8 a.m. Existing season ticket holders will be contacted by email Monday and have the option to reserve their current seats before all remaining seats are released to the general public Thursday.

Due to a change in NCAA broadcast rights, the only other way to see the game is to access it through ncaa.com and a soon-to-be released app – “NCAA Championships Pass” – available on Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Google TV devices.

Fans will have the following options: $9.95 per contest or $19.95 for all Division II Football Championship games excluding the semifinals, championship game and any games picked up by ESPN for distribution.

Harding went 11-0 in the regular season and won its third Great American Conference championship with a 56-0 blanking of Arkansas Tech in Russellville on Saturday. The American Football Coaches Association had Harding ranked No. 2 nationally last week with another poll coming out Monday.

GAC schools have combined to win eight games in the Division II Playoffs. Harding has six of those eight wins.
