New Delhi: About 130,000 security officers are deployed throughout the city as Delhi prepares for the G20 Summit. The leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India’s rising stature in the world are both highlighted by this summit. Additionally, the National Security Guard (NSG) Aerial Insertion Team has been rehearsing precise aerial drops on important high-rise facilities to hone their quick-response counter-terror capabilities. Overall, strong security precautions are in place.

Delhi Police force. - Of these, 45,000 men will wear blue uniforms instead of the customary khaki, including commandos trained in helicopter rappelling and precise driving.

Pragati Maidan , specialized security control rooms are being created.
- Popular hotels like the ITC Maurya Hotel, which will host US President Joe Biden, have increased security measures in place.
- All of the CCTVs guarding Delhi’s borders have been outfitted with software developed by AI research company
Staqu . By doing so, it will be easier to identify known offenders and stop them from entering the city.
Further, there are 11 Quick Response Teams (QRTs), 24 ambulances, 3 fire tenders, 2 units with hydraulic platforms (ski lifts), and a fire-fighting robot available at the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) in Pragati Maidan. Similar to this, 10 QRTs, 4 ambulances, and 4 fire tenders have been added to the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport to strengthen it.
