TCL P635 is a 4K smart TV powered by the Google TV operating system. Part of the company’s ‘Bezel-Less’ series, the 55-inch model supports Dolby Audio, HDR10+ and micro dimming.

It comes with a ‘Dynamic Color Enhancement’ feature, which the company claims is ‘designed to optimize color vibrancy automatically.’ While the TV is not technically bezel-less, they are really thin and almost unnoticeable from a distance.

The TV has a refresh rate of 60Hz and comes with 24W built-in speakers, which should be enough to fill a medium-sized room. It is currently priced at Rs 33,990.

Vu introduced its GloLED 4K TV series in India last year. The 55-inch smart TV features the brand’s own ‘GloPanel’ display that offers 400 nits of peak brightness and 60Hz refresh rate. It also supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

Unlike other smart TVs in the price bracket, the Acer V series TV comes with a QLED screen. The 55-inch model has a 60Hz refresh rate, two-way Bluetooth, dual band Wi-Fi and runs on Google TV out of the box.

It comes with built-in 30W speakers that support Dolby Atmos and 5 sound modes – Standard, Stadium, Movie, Music and Speech. The QLED screen supports MEMC, Dolby Vision, HDR10 with HLG, Micro Dimming and has an ‘Intelligent Frame Stabilization Engine’.

Mi has been making good smart TVs that offer value for money for quite a while now. The 55-inch variant of the Mi X Pro smart TV has a refresh rate of 60Hz and viewing angles up to 178 degrees.

Powered by Google TV, it comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and built-in 40W speakers that support both Dolby Atmos and DTS-X.

On the connectivity side of things, the TV sports 3 HDMI ports, 2USB ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack and even has an optical port, AV port and an ethernet port.

The 4K smart TV’s screen supports Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and HLG and comes with MEMC which comes in handy when watching sports. With one one-year product warranty and 2 years warranty on the panel, the 55-inch Mi X Pro 4K can be purchased for Rs 41,999.

As the name suggests, Samsung’s 55-inch Crystal 4K Neo TV has a resolution of 2840×2160 but for reasons unknown, the electronics giant has limited the refresh rate to 50Hz.

This model supports HDR10+, and Ultra HD dimming and also comes with an Auto Game Mode. On the audio side of things, the TV has 20W speakers with Dolby Digital Plus and Adaptive Sound. The back of the TV houses 3 HDMI ports and 1 USB port.

Compatible with Google Assistant, Alexa and Bixby, the Smart TV comes with several preinstalled OTT apps like Disney+ Hotstar, Prime Video, Netflix, Zee5 and others. The only downside is that the smart TV lacks Android support and instead uses Samsung’s own operating system. It is priced at Rs 46,990.
