The Friends of the Murrieta Library’s Town Square Bookstore will hold a summer overstock sale 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, in the Community Room of the Murrieta Public Library, 8 Town Square.
There will be more than 1,500 books available, including children’s books, and the books are in good to excellent condition, according to a news release. Cost is $1 for hardbacks, 50 cents for trade paperbacks and 25 cents for paperbacks. There will also be CDs and DVDs available for 50 cents each.
Proceeds will help support Murrieta Public Library programs.
During the sale, the Friends of the Town Square Bookstore, also at 8 Town Square, will be open. The bookstore is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Murrieta Library, and book donations and new volunteers are welcome.
