CASHBACK is a clever way to earn extra cash.
And you can get maximum rewards by using more than one method.
Find the best ways to earn more with these simple tips.
GET STARTED: Start on your journey to free money with the main cashback sites, TopCashback and Quidco.
There’s also KidStart that allows you to save your cashback for your kids.
When you’re ready to splash out, check if your chosen shops are offering cashback on these sites, then shop using their link.
It will take a few weeks for the money to land in your account.
Only buy it if you were planning to anyway, not just because there’s cashback on offer.
BANK IT: Many banks are offering chunky cashback to switch your account to them.
For example, you can earn £200 by switching to a NatWest or RBS Select account.
You can earn even more by changing to their reward accounts.
You can also open an account that specifically rewards you for your shopping.
The Santander 123 account pays up to three per cent cashback on selected household bills.
However, there is a monthly cap and it also comes with a £4 monthly fee.
ADD LAYERS: Get the most out of your cashback by layering on different savings.
The savviest shoppers will use a cashback website, then pay with a cashback credit card and use loyalty cards like Clubcard or Nectar to collect points as usual.
APPY DAYS: There are a load of apps that can save you even more, especially on your food shopping.
Among the most popular is Shopmium, where you can now save £1.70 on 350g Cathedral City extra mature lighter cheese, down from £4.20 to £2.50.
You simply upload a picture of your receipt after your shop and the reward is paid back to you.
Also check out the Jam Doughnut and Airtime Rewards app, which pay you back as you shop.
