BEST FOR WEIGHT TRAINING: Want to lift more? The slick Gymshark Training app has guided plans to help.

There’s also sculpting, strength and size plans, and videos help with technique while a timer keeps you on track.

BEST FOR RUNNING: Easy to navigate, the Nike Run Club app eases you in with guided first and second runs, timing and tracking your route and performance.

The runs are brilliant for keeping you going.

You can jog while listening to your own music and your coach will drop in to your playlist at random intervals to offer motivation.

It’s also worth checking out Nike on Netflix for a range of easy home workouts.

BEST FOR YOGA: YouTube is still a great free resource for motivation, workouts and fitness guides.

Want to start gently? Follow Yoga with Adriene (youtube.com/yogawithadriene) and whether you’re a beginner or seasoned yogi, her guidance will have you flowing through poses with ease.

Start with the 30 days of Yoga series, with a new 20-minute video daily this month.

BEST FOR CYCLING: The Strava app tracks your route and performance stats then afterwards you can dive deep into your data, for areas to improve.

Strava has a community element, too, so you can share your performance and see other routes and cyclists in your area.
