FCA probes ‘market abuse’ at Revolution Beauty

Revolution Beauty is being probed by the City watchdog over potential breaches of market abuse dating back two years.

The make-up brand said it was co-operating fully with the Financial Conduct Authority which is looking at a period from July 2021 to September 2022.

It is its latest setback, after its shares were suspended for nine months.

Revolution, set up in 2014, hit trouble after auditor BDO refused to sign off accounts for the year to February 28, 2022. 

It brought in new bosses and the accounts were filed two months ago, with the suspension lifted on June 28.
