According to lottery officials, the top prize was scooped by a lucky punter in Austria.

They have now overtaken the staggering net worth of beloved names including Rod Stewart, Robbie Williams, Sir Tom Jones and Ed Sheeran.

Tonight’s National Lottery EuroMillions winning numbers are: 17, 30, 42, 48, 50. The Lucky Stars are: 04, 08.

One UK millionaire has also been created with the code: VQDM43160.

The previous record-breaking cash prize saw Gloucestershire couple Joe and Jess Thwaite bank £184million in 2022.

Only 14 players have nabbed a jackpot of more than £100 million.

Colin and Chris Weir from Largs, North Ayrshire won £161.6million in July 2011, making them the third biggest UK winners in the UK.

Mr Weir chose to invest £2.5million in his beloved Partick Thistle football club, which saw him acquire over half of the club’s shares. –

The couple also forwarded £1million to the Scottish independence referendum in 2014.

Other fortunate players have chosen to be more philanthropic with their prize.

Frances and Patrick Connolly, who won nearly £115million on New Year’s Day 2019, set up charitable foundations with their jackpot money.

It comes after one man who scooped a £105million lotto jackpot wishes he had never won – and wants a normal life again.

Builder Steve Thomson landed the massive EuroMillions prize back in 2019.

Friends say that Steve now spends most days at home and taking his dog for walks – and that he misses building site banter.

Elsewhere, a EuroMillions winner who nabbed the £1million jackpot said he won’t even take home £100,000 because of an age-old “pact” he made with colleagues.

Darren Gargan, from Doncaster, split the eye-watering cash with the dozens of workers.

The maintenance manager won the eye-watering windfall after buying a EuroMillions ticket on Friday, November 3.

Darren almost missed on the whopping win after not checking the ticket as he was busy with work.
