To address the credit and financing gap faced by the Indian MSME sector, many fintech companies, as well as a growing number of traditional banks and other lending institutions, are offering a range of lending solutions for MSMEs to help these micro, small and medium enterprises meet their business-related expenses and tap new growth opportunities. In a bid to rejuvenate MSME financing, Godrej Capital, the non-banking lending arm of Godrej Industries, recently announced the launch of unsecured loans for small business owners and its plans to increase the product range and offerings on loans against property (LAP) for MSMEs.
